Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Due to an unhealthy lifestyle, emotional eating, obesity, PCOS, depression, high BP & cholesterol levels, I found myself weighing 23.5st and being diagnosed borderline Type 2 Diabetic in Summer 2010.

In a desperate state, I decided enough was enough, and began to turn my life around.  I lost 10st over the next 2yrs, and changed career to become a Specialist Personal Trainer with my own company: Big Picture Living.

I now help people with a range of health conditions - including diabetes - to manage their condition through becoming more active.

Both of my parents and many close family members are diabetic.  I am doing this walk to raise funds & awareness of the condition (in all it's forms).

Thank you for your generous support.
