We give additional hope and support to the people the Trust care for

Story

The charity is registered as Devon Partnership NHS Trust Special Charity and gives hope and support to those with mental health and learning disability needs across Devon and nationally. Our charity raises funds to make a difference to the people we care for and provides a platform which encourages recovery, well-being and draws closer links to the community.

I'm not a fast runner (unlike my husband!) but I do like to set myself running goals.

I ran my first Half Marathon in April last year in Plymouth, and got such a buzz from it I then did the Great West Run in Exeter in October.I am delighted to be running the GWR again, this time fundraising for the charity connected to the Trust for whom I work, to provide some extra help for people over and above what the NHS can provide.

The photo is of me and my 'little' brother after we ran the GWR last year.  I would love to try and beat my time which was around 2 hours 26 minutes last year.

Thank you to anyone who sponsors me, however small the amount.  It all adds up, so anything is very welcome.
