We raise awareness and funds to save lives and help people with cancer

Story

Hi everyone!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

I am doing the Glasgow Womens 10k in May, as well as swapping the high heels for mountain boots by climbing Ben Nevis, (yes all 1344m!) in July in memory of my brother John, who sadly passed away 8yrs ago at the age of 33.

John was an amazing brother, son, daddy, nephew and friend. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him will remember how much of a character he was with his charming personality, great sense of humour and how he just lit up a room. He really lived life to the full. Even though we all still feel great sadness that he is no longer with us, we will always be able to laugh and smile at the amazing times we shared with him and treasure those memories.

I have chosen to do this personal challenge in John's memory with all money raised being donated to the John Hartson Foundation.

I appreciate there are countless charities attempting to raise funds for worthwhile causes, however if you can spare a few pounds to donate to the John Hartson Foundation we can help raise awareness of Testicular Cancer as well as supporting people affected by cancer and their families too. Testicular cancer is one of the less common types of the disease, yet it's the single most common type to affect younger men between the ages of 15 - 45.  Any donation big or small will help the Foundation continue to support those affected.

Thanks so much for your support, Sharron x

Love and miss you every day John x x
