Silver was supported in many ways through her life and death by Tiny Lives. They provided her physio for her feet which were not quite pointing the right way. They provided all the lovely bedding which Silver liked to wee on! One of the most important things they provided was two mini boo's which meant me and Silver could swap them each night to share our scents to comfort her and help me produce lots of milk (which I have just donated to the northwest milk bank). They supported us with a lovely social worker whom helped us access a grant which enabled us to stay in Newcastle with Silver and not worry about finances through loss of earnings. As we stayed in Crawford House from the Sick Children's Trust Tiny Lives helped us so much by paying for our parking pass, taking away finances worries. Most importantly Tiny Lives provided the calming room where we moved Silver to so she could pass away in Daddy's arms in a peaceful secluded environment and then provided us with a flat where we then spent several days with our little girl enjoying the beautiful memory box they gave us with hand print kits and a beautiful story book for our son explaining what has happened to his little sister. The box also included two matching teddies, one of which along with her mini boo were cremated along with her. 

What they did to support us and our baby girl made losing her dignified and enabled us to treasure some precious time which we will forever be grateful.
