Fundraising for Help for Heroes
Story
In May 2017, Hockey for Heroes is raising money for Help for Heroes by undertaking an extreme challenge.
Help for Heroes provides direct practical support for wounded, injured and sick service personnel, veterans and their loved ones.
The challenge is:
- 200 miles in 10 days (From Sophia Gardens Cardiff to Lee Valley Hockey Arena London)
- Carrying a paralysed ex Royal Marine on a stretcher
- Playing 3 hockey matches each day (A seasons worth of games in 10 days)
