Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm walking 200 miles across the entire country, Coast-To-Coast in April!

 

When I was just 16 years old, a charity whose name I do not now know sponsored me to go on an Outward Bound course for three weeks in Abrdovey. It changed my life! Something about that three weeks tought me that I could do things that I had though I could not do until that point. It pushed me to my limits too! But it also pushed a love of the wild-hills into my blood that was perhpas there before but was certainly there afterwards. It tought me that through hard work and determination one can achieve many things and that one's past is not necessarily a barrier to the future. Without that course, I would probably not have had the get-up-and-go to do many things that I have since done. It altered the bedrock of who I am and I think back to it more often than you might expect. Thanks so much to those who chose me and gave me the opportunity. Though it is now very many years later, this is my chance to put a little back and maybe let another young person have their life brought out of the dark and into the light.
