This time last year my youngest sister was diagnosed with MND.  This terrible illness currently has no cure and in nearly all cases is fatal. 

The condition is quite rare, fortunately, so it's possible you may not have heard of it.  Arguably the most famous sufferer of the illness is the scientist Stephen Hawking. 

I plan to undertake a number of activities this year in support of the MND charity.
