In November 2015, myself and four other ambitious but otherwise ordinary men in the their 40's are setting out on an epic journey of adventure, only once been attempted before. Our challenge, to row the navigable length of the Amazon River, from Iquitos in Peru to Belem in Brazil - a total distance of 2077 miles - totally unsupported. We are not athletes but we want to stretch ourselves , achieve something extraordinary and raise funds for this and other amazing charities.

Caudwell Children is a UK children's charity that has an ambitious and innovative development programme in order to change the lives of disabled children and their families. 

Owning a children's day nursery along with my wife has meant we have seen first hand how this fantastic charity has changed the lives of children and families with a wide range of specific needs.
