Skye is a 4 year old little girl that has recently been told theres not much that can be done for her she has Tuberous Sclerosis which is a complex genetic condition. Children with Tuberous Sclerosis can have growths (in their Brain, Heart, Eyes, Kidneys, Lungs or on their Skin). They may also have Epilepsy, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Spectrum Disorder and Renal problems. The unpredictability of the condition makes it hard for families to cope with symptoms can vary considerably with some children showing few symptoms while others are more saverely affected. Symptoms may also become more apparent as a child grows and develops. Skyes spent a lot of her time in and out of hospital for emergency treatment and lots of tests and appointments. Skyes condition is a lifetime condition with no cure and she will constantly receive hospital treatment for the rest of her life so we as a family are hoping to raise as much funds as possible to help find a cure for this horrible condition and maby some day Skye might be lucky and have a cure.
