Sands, the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity are divided into a nationwide network of local support groups run by bereaved parents to support anyone affected by the loss of a baby.  This page is to raise funds specifically for Solihull Sands. 

Solihull Sands is a small local West Midlands branch of Sands.  Everyone associated with the group has either personally suffered the devastating loss of a baby or supported a close family member in these circumstances. Our aim is to support families after a stillbirth or neonatal death in the Solihull area.  Money raised will help Solihull Sands to continue to offer support through trained befrienders, our helpline, support groups, newsletters, website and events.  We also use funds to enable us to provide training to healthcare professionals likely to come into contact with parents at any point during the pregnancy or after their loss.

The work of the group is totally self funded and carried out by volunteers.  We are always grateful for donations which are used to fund our work and we thank you for considering our charity worthy of your donation.
