The Sonning Common Community First Responder scheme is run by South Central Ambulance Service, but is completely reliant on fundraising and on the generosity of local individuals and businesses in order to meet certain operational costs.

Donations are always welcome, however small, as all money received will go towards covering the cost of purchase and running a marked 4x4 vehicle. Currently we all use our own vehicles and with winter approaching fast we would like a vehicle which will give us great visibility, better tracking for the Ambulance Service, faster response times and the ability to carry and administer Entonox (pain reliever).
