St Andrews Hospice China Trek 2012

We have 24 people treking the great wall from 28th Sept to 7th Oct 2012 if you would like to help please donate as much as you can towards supporting St Andrews Hospice

The Great Wall of China is one of the great wonders of the world, stretching 5,500 miles, from the Gobi Desert to the mountains of Korea. This trek is one of the world’s classics, offering stunning scenery, challenging walking and a fascinating insight into both an ancient and modern culture

This 10 day trip we will trek various sections of the Great Wall including stretches of Juyong Guan Pass, Badaling and Mutianyu where work has been done restoring the wall to its former glory.  We will then travel to wilder sections of the wall and to Black Dragon Pool Park one of China’s protected national parks.

The Hospice needs to raise £49,000 every week to keep providing the excellent care for patients and their families. It is the only hospice in Lanarkshire and provides inpatient and day hospice care throughout the county.

Every little donation goes towards making a difference so please donate if you can and accept our thanks in advance.
