Why Stamma?

Small but fierce, the British Stammering Association have campaigned tirelessly since 1978 to make a better, fairer world for children and adults who stammer. Over the last 18 months, Gillian has been proud to be a very small part of the team taking this work to the next level with the launch of the Stamma campaign, featuring digital adverts, podcasts and a revamped telephone helpline. We're launching a webchat facility later this year, so that we can reach even more people who stammer. But we want to do more. Donate and help us:

• Get open days up and running across the UK along with family days, where parents of children who stammer can meet other parents and, just as importantly, young children who stammer can meet others like them
  
• support and expand the number of local groups and networks

Every little bit helps and no amount is too small but please don't worry if you're not in a position to donate. Alternative (free) ways of supporting Stamma include:
