Story

Staff Sergeant Stephen Hughes (pictured) who is serving in Kabul, is this Sunday starting a gruelling 20-day challenge where every day he will complete a different physical exercise and repeat it 453 times, at an altitude of 2,000 metres.

...He has called the challenge Reps 2 Remember, with the 453 repetitions or laps remembering the 453 British service personnel who sadly lost their lives in Afghanistan, and the 20 days marking the 20 tours in Afghanistan that the British Forces have been involved in.

The tough exercises include 453 40kg squats, a 4.53km 100kg sledge pull and 453 tricep dips. He wants to raise £5000 for Royal Hospital Chelsea and if he fails he’s pledged his own wages to the charity.

You can follow my progress on facebook at "Reps 2 Remember" where there will be a daily blog, videos and pictures
