Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’ve always cycled to work and for the last few years started cycling for fun and to keep fit. This year I’ve decided to put my efforts to better use and raise money for RIGHT TO PLAY. During the last few years I’ve travelled to several very different developing countries but always seen the power of sport in building communities and giving kids some fun when they face extraordinary challenges in their young lives.  So I’m joining the RIGHT TO PLAY bike ride from Liege, Belgium, to London on the 30th June-3 July 2012. That will be 300 miles to cycle in three days:  the longest I’ve ever ridden in a single day before is 35 miles – and then I had to have a week’s rest. So this will be quite a challenge for me, but nothing as compared to that faced by many children around the world. My fund raising target is £2000. Please help by donating as much as you can afford.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
