Story
Fanconi Anemia is a rare life limiting genetic disorder causing bone marrow failure in children which predisposes them to cancer. My cousin Hannah was diagnosed with this condition at birth and has been through many hospital stays involving heart surgery, a bone marrow transplant, blood transfusions and extensive hip and pelvic operations. Through this Hannah has grown to become a brave, funny and caring little lady of 10 who loves life and our extended family are so grateful to Fanconi Hope for their support and research. This research has led to better treatments which in some cases can increase life expectancy into adulthood.
Anne and I are delighted to have the opportunity to raise much needed funds for Fanconi Hope and thanks for taking the time to visit our page.
