I'm proud to once again be helping Doncaster Business for the Community in their efforts to help causes and Charities in Doncaster.

As some of you may remember last year I helped raise over £300 for 2 amazing Doncaster based charities by competing in The Crown Hotel Doncaster Business Cup. 

This year it’s the turn of two new charities. 

The first fantastic cause is The Children’s Air Ambulance based at Doncaster Sheffield Airport.- 

Since 2012 the charity have completed more than 300 missions with its clinical partners operating out of Doncaster Sheffield Airport

The bespoke equipment on board includes a specially designed stretcher system and clinical interior and cuts down transfer times for paediatric and neonatal transfers, currently around 4 times faster than road transfers.

 The charity is funded entirely by donations and works closely with 9 clinical partner teams such as Embrace who provide round-the-clock transport services for critically ill infants and children in Yorkshire and the Humber in association with Sheffield Childrens Hospital 

The second charity we are raising funds for is Doncaster Disabled People's Alliance.

The group supports and recruits disabled volunteers to become further involved in local projects and initiatives, which in turn helps them gain the necessary skills, confidence and knowledge to continue into further volunteering, education or employment.

Both of these causes benefit Doncaster and it would be great to get some support, even the smallest amount makes a difference.
