Officially it all started just over 4 years ago when I was diagnosed with Parkinsons aged just 48, but I suppose in reality it would be approximately 12 months earlier that I noticed that something was "not quite right".  I had been to see a doctor and was signed off work with "stress" but what else could it be,  I mean I was only 47!!!

Well that was 4 years ago. I am thankful that, at the minute I am still able to drive, and consequently am able to continue to work, with the support and understanding of all my colleagues, for which I am extremely grateful.

I must also thank all my family and friends for their love and support, especially to Lizzie and Catherine for their own "efforts" and fundraising, completing the Blackpool half marathon with little preparation!!!! And finally I must thank my wife, Carolyn, for all the love and support without which I would be lost.

So what could I do? Well how about THE UK’S HIGHEST FREEFALL ABSEIL! The UK’s highest freefall abseil on the UK’s tallest sculpture is the adrenaline-fuelled way to see London at 262 feet above the city. Why not?!
