Steve is a talented local artist who has worked in the Barrow Shipyard since starting as an apprentice Painter in1974.

Steve has raised hundreds of pounds for charities through his paintings with his most notable successes being 3 paintings exhibited in the Royal Academy in London.

Steve has painted a series of pictures based on photographs of the Astute submarines in build at the shipyard. He has agreed to allow people to download images of these paintings but would ask for a donation to Alice's Escapes via this webpage. Many thanks.
