Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year (2017), I retired from the Royal Air Force after nearly 30 year's service. One of the reasons I retired was to have the time to pursue some charitable endeavours.
I have, so far, raised £500 by shaving my hair and beard off (Steve Baldly Goes) and want to do even better by putting some effort in this time around. That means pulling out the stops and running from Helston to Land's End (Trip to the Edge) which is around marathon distance (approximately 25.5 miles but likely to be a bit more). I have upped my total to £5000 for this and hope that I am able to reach it so that Marie Curie can get the most benefit from my efforts.
I have chosen Marie Curie as a starting point for my charitable concerns because they are there to help people in the most difficult of circumstances... terminal illness.
