Story
Me and Ste have decide to take part in the Manchester 10k 🙈.
We will be raising money in memory of Ste's brother (Paul Heapy) and the charity 'Kidneys For Life'.
This charity is close to our hearts as Paul was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2002, he then fought this illness for 8 years and also had a kidney transplant which unfortunatley didn't work. He lost his battle in 2010 but his memory still lives on..
Any donations will be greatly appreciated 😘 xx
A large number of the population have chronic kidney disease and this is only going to get worse as we put on weight and live longer. Whilst it is more likely to affect you when you get older, all ages are at risk and can develop kidney failure needing dialysis and possibly a kidney transplant. We are looking for kidneys to last a lifetime with our research
