I am taking part in the Great Wall of China Challenge in aid of The Isabel Hospice this October.

Cancer touches all our lives in one way or another.  We all know someone who has suffered or is suffering.  

Isabel Hospice is a local charity in Hertfordshire, caring for adults with a life-limiting illness, as well as providing support for family and friends.

Many people I know have used the hospice over the years and its really important to me to do something to support a local charity, close to home.

Stretched resources mean that sufferers don't always get the help and support they need.  The Isabel Hospice looks after the patient and their nearest and dearest.

Please help me reach my target.  I need to raise £3300 before October and its only with your help that I'll be able to do this.

The challenge that faces me in October is huge - both physically and mentally.  I am training hard for this and have given up smoking and am walking more than ever - even my two dogs are knackered!   I've even ridden a bike for the first time in 15 years in preparation to grow fitter.

Please help me raise this money - anything you can spare is a step towards caring for those patients and their loved ones.

I am so grateful for your help and I know every person helped at the hospice will be too.
