Hi everyone

I am running the London Marathon this year, after many years of trying to get in to the event, I was very lucky this year and won the space from my local womens only running club, Dorset Sole Sisters.

As I got my place from a local club I thought it would be good to raise money for a local charity and I know that Weldmar will do good things with the money.

My training is going well and I have already completed the Weymouth Half marathon in a time of 2 hours 12 minutes, so I am on course for my target of completing the Marathon in 5 hours. This was backed up by completing a 21 mile training run in 4 hours 15. I little bit slow but not bad.

I have completed a marathon before in 5 hours and 15 minutes, so if I can beat that I would be very happy.
