We are raising money for Max Appeal to raise awareness of 22q11 deletion and support the thousands of familys effected.

Our Son Jacob was diagnosed with 22q11 when he was 6 months old, although this was not a shock to us as we were pre warned during pregnancy, It did have a big impact on us as parents.

With the support of family, freinds and the help and advice received from Max Appeal we were able to move forward as a family and ensure jacob had the extra help required. 

Jacob is now 3 and a very caring and loving child who is true pleasure to be around. 

We are planing to paddleboard 300Km in a shortest time possible ( hopefully less than 7 days )  the challenge will be conducted as small team but alll paddlers will cover the entire distance. 

We will be setting of on the 24th August 2019 launching from the Hereford rowing club onto the river Wye.
