Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As Captain of Surrey National Golf Club 2016-17 I am proud to have this opportunity to raise money for my chosen charity the NSPCC.
My Captains year has had a great start with an amazing turnout for my Captains drive in day and evening ball which raised a total of £652!
As a fund raiser at the club I have incorporated the 'Captains three putt challenge!' Any player who three putts any whole during a club competition forfits 50p the the Charity.
This has gone down with mixed reactions and plenty of banter but as I tell my fellow golfers it's all for a good cause and will help improve their putting skills!
Please feel free to challenge yourselves and your playing partners to my 'Captains three putt challenge' and donate 50p everytime you three putt!
We will hold our Captains charity day on Thursday 16th March 2017 which I'm sure will be a great turnout (with lots of goodies to raffle) which should also raise lots of cash!
All money's rased is going to the NSPCC Schools Service. This can be used for Surrey school visits supporting our Volunteers provide our Speak out Stay safe programme so that a generation of children have the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks for reading my story and any money you donate, even if it's just 50p! It all helps.
Best wishes,
Joe Krarup, SNGC Captain 2016-17
