Patricia, our mother died aged 91. She had the wet form of macular degeneration which meant for the last few years she had not been able to read or see the television. Calibre provide a most brilliant service where volunteers read out loud and record books onto memory sticks. These were really easy to use and only required one button to be pressed. 

Mum used to listen to her books in the morning after breakfast sitting in her favourite chair at the french window. Your donation will help this work to continue to give pleasure to other partially sighted and blind people across the country.
