Story

As many of you know, my gorgeous little boy Alex suffered brain damage when he was a baby and as a result needs a range of therapies and support and one of the theraputic activities we do with Alex every week is take him to Small Steps.

Small Steps is a truly wonderful charity who offer children like Alex the chance to do some intensive physio and sensory work whilst playing and having fun with age appropriate themes like 'Fire Engines'.  Our sessions at Small Steps are the highlight of Alex's week and he loves seeing his little friends and working hard on his movements and his sensory capabilities.

The staff are the most friendly and caring people who are so passionate about helping not only the children but the parents as well. The whole environment is just so positive and nurturing.

I absolutely cannot praise Small Steps enough and they don't receive any statutory funding, they have to raise funds through initaitives like this and other charity events so every single donation is crucial. Since Alex was diagnosed we have been involved with quite a few charities, big and small, and I can honestly say that Small Steps is the one that has made the most difference to Alex and we really want to support them to continue the fantastic work that they do.

So please give what you can and think of Cols and I pounding the streets of London on July 10th!

Lots of love, Susie & Cols xxx
