Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
As a club we’ve come together to raise money and awareness for The Injured Players Foundation, a charity we hold close to our hearts here at Sussex. The men’s rugby team look to take on the half marathon for a second year in a row, building on a legacy. An incredible player and great friend to many, Harry, known to most as ‘Beaver’, sadly suffered a tragic injury whilst playing for Sussex two seasons ago. Thankfully, for Harry and others who have suffered serious injuries through playing rugby, RFU - IPF exists as a charity for life, offering support and rehabilitation.

We return on the 26th February 2017 with twice as many runners with an aim to smash last year’s outstanding total of £4343.55, to reach a whopping £10,000. A total we believe is achievable with the dedication, hard work and passion visible throughout the club on and off the pitch. However, we need your support to achieve this…
With each donation you are helping those who face new challenges everyday through injury more than you could ever know, making a true difference to the game of rugby. Thank you for supporting us here at Sussex and helping to carry on the legacy left behind by ‘Beavers Barmy Army’
