Last year i was diagnosed with Heart Failure, it was quite tricky to come to terms with, and i had to stop exercise for 9 months while my heart responded to medication. Its been a tough battle to carefully get my fitness back and so doing a Half Marathon is a very big challenge for me. I am taking a wonderful group of friends out to the Uganda Marathon to raise money for African Village Support, a charity i have been involved with for a few years, I am a trustee and it's very dear to my heart.
