We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

The Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity raises money to enable the hospital to provide world-class care and pioneering new treatments for childhood illnesses.

With over 255,000 patient visits every year, the charity needs your support to help give hope to its young patients and their families.

31 Media, organisers of the European Software Testing Awards, are proud to support Great Ormond Street Hospital, and will be raising funds for this very worthy cause tonight. There will be a prize draw held after dinner, where one lucky winner will win a fantastic prize.

All proceeds from the prize draw will be donated to the charity.

Laura Savory, senior fundraising manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, said: “We’re so grateful to the European Software Testing Awards for the generosity and support they have shown over the years. The money raised will help make a huge difference to young patients and families from across the UK.”

Great Ormond Street is one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals and brings together the broadest range of dedicated children’s healthcare specialists under one roof in the UK.

The hospital’s pioneering research and treatment gives hope to children who are suffering from the rarest, most complex and often life‑threatening conditions, from across the country and beyond.

The Charity needs to raise money to help rebuild and refurbish Great Ormond Street Hospital, provide vital up‑to‑date equipment and fund research into better treatments for the children.

About the charity

We fundraise to enhance Great Ormond Street Hospital’s ability to transform the health and wellbeing of children and young people. Donations help to fund advanced medical equipment, child and family support services, pioneering research and rebuilding and refurbishment.
