Kai and Kenzies Trike Appeal.
Kenzie is 3 and has spina bifida, he has a brother Conor who is 7 and Kai, 9 who has cerebral palsy. Kenzie and Kai cannot use a standard cycle, but have recently successfully trialed a specialist Tom Cat Trike. (which will be custom built to support each child's individual needs)
The benefits of these trikes are numerous and for these brothers will include strengthening muscles, improving general motor skills and fitness levels.
Emotionally every child needs to play and for the family to do something with all their boys together would be amazing. Sadly these trikes are not covered by the NHS. So please give generously as you cannot put a price on the sense of enjoyment and achievement that using these trikes will bring to Kai and Kenzie.
UPDATE:
We just want to say a massive thank you for the Trikes, they arrived on Wednesday and we have taken the three boys out for their first bike ride ever as a family today. We cannot begin to tell you how grateful we are, the feeling of seeing all three of our children able to join in together like that was amazing. Again thank you so much, Kai Connor and Kenzie had a brilliant time together riding their bikes which without you and your supporters would never have been possible.
Thank You
