We help veterans and their families to live the life they deserve after service

Story

Tom is the Political Editor of The Sun; Johnny is a former Army officer and the Member of Parliament for Plymouth Moor View. Tom and Johnny have known each other for some time - meeting when Tom was a defence corespondent and wrote a touching tribute to Johnny's friend Mick Smith who was killed in Afghanistan in 2006.

Help for Heroes has been at the forefront of the improvements in veterans' care in the aftermath of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. Sadly, with as many as 83,000 ex-troops needing help, there is so much more for them to do.

Tom has done a Big Battlefield Bike Ride before, but neither have ever been on a tandem - let alone together, and for 350 miles between Lille and Arnhem in September 2017. They are doing it because they want to give something back to their friends.

They need a tandem bike. And they need sponsoring. Either will help! Thank you if you can,

Johnny and Tom
