Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It was through an amalgamation of TR's top teams of sales, purchasing and quality, that five employees of TR Fastenings decided to take up the three peaks challenge.

Some say,  "great minds think alike", others say "too many cooks spoil the broth!" however, one thing 'the trekkers' agreed upon was that they  wanted to complete a tough challenge, with charity in mind.

The Charity - Cancer Research - www.cancerresearch.org.uk - With 350,000 people being diagnosed with a form of cancer each year, it is vital that this charity continues to receive funds to help it continue with its fantastic work in helping find ways of preventing and beating cancer.

The Team - Andy 'Stirling' Dawes (The Driver), Steve 'Squat' Wallis, Daniel 'Rafiki' Reardon, Rob 'Buzz' Hall, Nick 'Sick-note' Hardstone, Ross 'Dumbo' Delmon.

The Challenge - The 3 peaks is a notoriously challenging trek, taking in the highest peaks in the UK:

Peak one - Ben Nevis - Scotland - 1,344 metres.

Peak two - Scafell Pike - England - 978 metres.

Peak three - Snowdon - Wales - 1,085 metres.

All to be completed over the weekend of the 23rd-24th July 2016.
