Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire are taking on the ultimate challenge for Helen and Douglas House, spending 7 days trekking to the summit of Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro.

Embarking on this extreme journey are the following brave adventurers:

• Tom Slough - Regional Technical Coordinator
• Rebecca Bowker - Project Manager
• Lauren Murphy - Assistant Sales Manager
• Anna Newman - Technical Management Trainee

The team will face a gruelling 30 mile trek, which consists of a 3 mile ascent to the summit. They will endure sub-zero temperatures, wind, and rain in this high-altitude challenge. But all for a fantastic cause.

Based in Oxford, but supporting families from surrounding counties and as far as London, Helen & Douglas House care for terminally ill children at their hospice and through their outreach service. At Helen House, the world’s first children’s hospice, they care for babies and children up to the age of 18. The families who come to Helen & Douglas House depend on this charity to help them – either – face challenges every day during their children’s short lives or deal with living with a child with a terminal illness. But without your help, Helen & Douglas House can’t give them the expert care and support they need.

It costs £3 million a year to run the hospice, and 88% of this comes from people like you. Every donation makes a big difference to the help they can offer terminally ill children and families facing the devastating loss of a child. Your donations mean that families don’t have to face the unthinkable alone.
