Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This May I will be taking part in the Jurassic Coast Challenge, walking 100k from Poole to Bridport.

Why?

For fun, for the physical and mental challenge, and raise money for a charity very close to my heart.

I am sure you’re all aware, as I’m quiet about nothing, that our Reuben has PKU.

This condition means Roo cannot eat a normal diet like we can, he has to take supplements which are unappetising and a challenge at times.

The NSPKU are a fountain of knowledge, support and guidance to those living with PKU and those raising children with it too.

You all know I’m a crier...well the NSPKU do too, I’ve phoned them in despair many a time, and they’ve always taken the time to listen and suggest options.

They also help families with costs towards hospital travel etc, as believe me a family train ticket to London isn’t cheap!

And I am also doing this for myself, for my mental and physical wellbeing. Aside from getting fit for this, I’ll be spending more time outdoors, spending time with new friends and proving to myself that I can do it!!

So, no pressure, but if you’d like to donate some of your hard earned golden coins to a charity that could make the impact they have on my life on someone else.

All money donated will go to the NSPKU....I’ll fund my blister plasters myself!!

Love you all

Xxxx
