Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you will know running the London Marathon is on my bucket list and I have said if I ever run a Marathon it will only be in London.  After training for the Marathon in 2009 only to be let down at the last moment I am so excited to finally get the chance to take part in this epic event.  I have chosen Stickler Syndrome UK as my charity as they are a small charity who are very reliant on the income from this event, and after a last minute drop out they needed a fifth member to complete their team.  I am honoured to be chosen to support them.

Stickler Syndrome is a common but little recognised genetic progressive condition that affects the body's collagen (connective tissue). Symptoms are variable and can present in different ways. The charity aims to raise awareness of this syndrome amongst medical professionals and the general public.

For more information about this charity please go to www.stickler.org.uk.

Thank you so much for your support.
