Gem's Story...

Nanny Barbara was such a kind, gentle, loving, and warm person, with the greatest sense of fun and adventure! And we will all always remember the wonderful and happy times we spent with her.

In March this year, her body eventually relented to the disease that had seen her slow and steady decline over the remaining years of her life. 

Alzheimer's is a disease that we know can, and will be beaten. We are raising money to pay for the necessary research which will one day defeat this disease.

Julie, Sal, Steve, Gem, Jamie, Joe, and Rach will be walking a mammoth 26 mile route through the Shropshire hills on Saturday 17th May 2014! Bring on the blisters!
