In April this year we lost, not only our colleague but a very dear friend to Cancer.  Wilma Bain was the Corporate Director of Education and Community Services.  At the age of 56 her approach to the dreadful diagnosis was nothing short of inspirational.  She faced the challenge with determination, with good humour and always had a smile on her face.

All of us who worked closely and indeed knew her are still hurting, but knowing Wilma she would want to give us all a good shake and would not want us to be sad but to remember with joy the life she lived in making sure our young people in Inverclyde ot the very best education from their start in life.

St. Vincent's Hospice cared for Wilma in her last weeks and we thought it would be fitting to make a donation in her name.
