Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my donation page.
Riding a full century - 100 miles - is a big milestone in the life of a cyclist. The longest I've ever ridden before this year is a metric century: 100 km (62 miles). So this is an exciting and somewhat scary challenge. But I also know that I am privileged and lucky to be able to give myself such challenges when elsewhere in the world, so many people struggle to simply survive day-to-day.
That's why I've decided to dedicate my first century to UNICEF. The efforts of Tom Hiddleston brought the good work UNICEF does to my attention, and as a proud member of both the Hiddles Army and a little cycling team called Team Loki, I want to do my part to improve life for others. I sincerely hope that some day, all children in the world will have the opportunities I did growing up.
Please consider donating, even as little as a penny per mile that I'll ride (while wearing my horns!) on July 21st. Even a dollar can make a difference.

BONUS! We've hit $500 for UNICEF UK and that's amazing! But let's keep it going--I'll sweeten the pot. If we get to $800 by 7/20, I will FINALLY liveblog "Metal Tornado" and do so while carbing up. Come on, make me watch a horrible movie! (For examples of Rachael Liveblogs Awful Stuff, please refer to my blog.)
