Connected by Monkey Music, we are a team of Monkey mums, teachers, franchisees and friends who are entering Triathlon events in East Grinstead this May.  The majority will Try-a-Tri in a women-only event. For others it's the Sprint Triathlon and one team member is taking on the Aqua Bike.   Our aim is to raise awareness of, and £15,000 for the wonderful work of Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Charity - the UK's leading independent music therapy provider and trainer of music therapists.

We are thrilled to have Ellie Fletcher in our team. Ellie is a former Monkey Music teacher and is now training to become a music therapist with Nordoff Robbins.

What are the events?

Try-a-Tri? A mini triathlon to encourage more women to participate in the sport and try it out: 200m swim, 11km bike and 2.5km run

Sprint Triathlon: 400m, 25 km bike, 5km run

Aqua Bike: 400m swim, 26 km bike

Why now? To celebrate the fact that Monkey Music classes have been running in the Bromlely, Chislehurst, Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells area for over 15 years.

Ambitious target?  If we reach our target, it will provide over 300 individual music therapy sessions.  At Monkey Music, we share the belief of Nordoff Robbins that music really does change lives - help us to support their work and reach more people.
