Along with our finish line sponsorship Terberg Matec UK are fielding two supersonic, totally terrific downhill descending teams for the event with our HQ in Warrington building one racing machine and our factory in Worksop building another.

Internal rivalry is high and designs are underway bringing in technology from the waste and recycling industry, motorsport, mobility scooters, BMX, mountain bikes, camping trailers and whatever junk we can find on Ebay.

Our intrepid (read......slightly mental) drivers have selected and currently undergoing high altitude training to prepare them for the dizzying heights of Clifton Park, Rotherham.

With around 40 teams entered, competition is fierce, fast and furious. The course will see competitors soap boxes race down a 450 metre course negotiating corners, obstacles and jumps at speed up to 40mph. All action, all against the clock.

All guaranteed to be great fun if you can make it down there on the day to offer us some moral support.

Moral support goes a long way but what's more important though is financial support and that is our reason for being here and setting up this page. We want to help the Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice as much as we possibly can to continue the superb work and support they give to families and children facing heartbreaking circumstances.
