As we were enjoying the last rays of summer, Steve, Peter and SImon had secretly begun training. Why you ask? 3 years ago they formed a team to enter a ski endurance event because they thought it would be 'fun'! How wrong they were. At 188kms in 24hours, "it was one of the hardest things I have ever done" said Simon. "Having trained to run in 3 national events as a youngster, I thought I knew what pain was. This was a whole world harder."

Good news is the team has now reformed to really give it their best shot!

The LIA has raised £1000's over the last two years for Great Ormond Street Hospital and we would love to keep that total rising as we go into 2019!
