CfLaT has this year decided to enter the NETA Pedometer Challenge and our team is: Jill Clark (Captain), Pam Woolner, Simon Gibbs, Rachel Lofthouse and David Leat. Our aim is to walk 1000000 steps between us over 4 weeks - from 9th May to 5th June. 

Our aim is also to raise £100 for NETA - the North East Trust for Aphasia. So far we are doing well and we have racked up 436088 in our first week!

The person with aphasia can have problems speaking, understanding, reading and writing. This can have major effects for both the person and their family in terms of social life, work and relationships.
