We make a difference in our local community to inspire and help young South Londoners.

Story

The Palace for Life Foundation has been working with the South London community for over 25 years. Existing to leverage the power of football and the Crystal Palace FC brand to change the lives of young people across South London, particularly the most hard-to-reach and hard-to-help. They work with over 13,000 people each year, inspiring them to find a better path and to lead a healthier life.

The Eagles Beak has entered a team to take part in the event this year to do our bit for what is a fantastic charity that do great things in and around the community.

Let us introduce you to our team;

JAY is the founder of TEB and site editor. An avid Palace fan since the late eighties with a passion for music and too many other sports. Presenter and producer of The Meridian Sports Show on 107 Meridian FM and a recent addition to the ParkRun craze and about to make his Marathon March debut.

MARK is a Palace season ticket holder in the Holmesdale Lower together with his wife and son. Mark started attending Palace matches in 2004 and despite the relegation that season has been hooked over since. A Marathon March veteran who has his own Just Giving page for this event >> https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mark-silverstein1

DAN is a season ticket holder in the Arthur Wait and is a regular contributor to TEB and its social media platforms. Can also be found binge watching box sets, keeping fit and occasionally chatting on the radio. Marathon March debut.

JAMES is author of The Palace Addition, a Palace fan's story about following the team around the country throughout the 2009/10 season. Another Marathon March debutant. *UPDATE - Also known as the 'Connor Wickham' of the team, James has gone down with an injury in training and has unfortunately had to pull out of the event.*

Every single donation that is made is extremely welcome. We encourage you to share and promote our page so that we can exceed our set target.

Thank you, TEB
