We fund research and raise awareness of MND to help anyone touched by MND.

Story

In October last year my Dad,  Richard 'Dick' Scott lost his battle with MND after a brave and stubborn fight lasting over two years.  His determination, grit and courage is the inspiration behind TheHardWayRound.

My Dad, was a grafter to the very end. He would challenge himself every day, pushing as hard as he could, never complaining all whilst maintaining a level of dignity that was truly humbling.

Following my Dad's funeral, we as a family were completely blown away when The Doddie Weir Foundation reached out to us. Its our intention to repay this incredible outreach of kindness and can only hope that any money raised will and can be used to help Doddie, his family, and others who's lives have been affected by MND.  Hopefully one day in the  future we can all expect at least a fair crack at beating this disease.

So in June of this year myself, Al Johnstone and Stef Elertowicz will take on the 518 mile North Coast 500 cycle route and in light of my Dad's refusal to take the easy route during his battle we'll be going anti-clockwise, (apparently its harder?!). Massive thanks to Al and Stef for their support with all of this.

We hope you can help us to reach our goal and lend your support to the The Doddie Weir Foundation. We would be extremely grateful for your support.

Thank you.
