A passionate animal welfare charity working in and around Yorkshire. Saving the lives of 100's of dogs and cats every single year from desperate need from cruelty, abuse, neglect and often facing being destroyed in the stray kennels. We are there to help cats dumped on the street.

Story

Hello!
I am a volunteer for Rain Rescue  and Friends of Ferals (2 excellent little fur face saving organisations in Sheffield) and this year, as I turn 30, I've decided to do a total of 30 fundraising challenges & activities for them. (I'm not sure why, I just thought it would be a good idea...) this will include running a marathon, several half marathons, 10k's and 5ks, swims, hikes, climbs as well as creating charity products to sell and events at which to draw out even more cash!
Hopefully my year will culminate in the coast to coast walk if I don't break/ tear/ sprain/ fall/ die before then.

If you're interested I'll be keeping a blog about my adventures www.ohmygodimthirty.blogspot.co.uk

I'll have some friends joining me along the way (2 & 4 legged) and I'd love to raise some much needed funds for my favourite charity because they are utterly ace, read all about them here www.rainrescue.co.uk and http://www.friendsofferals.co.uk/
