Story
I am an experienced ultra runner, and have completed races in the Sahara Desert and the Alps.
I am now facing my most difficult challenge, a 150 mile race across the Arctic Circle in February 2020. It might be a little cold!
I am raising money in memory of Max Cadet who was a close friend of my daughter. He died in October 2018 after a brain haemorrhage. He was looked after with great skill, care and sensitivity on the neurosurgical ward at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield.
Your fundraising means so much to Neurocare, NHS staff and the patients whose lives have been improved, changed and saved through the generosity of people like you. Every penny you raise helps Neurocare fund life-saving equipment, research, patient support services, hospital transformations and medical training, all of which enhance the care and treatment of neuroscience patients being treated in Sheffield's NHS hospitals. Thank you so much for your support!
