Hi there! 

We (that’s Charles, Tiffany and Poppy the black lab) are spending a year hiking to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

This is a charity very close to our hearts, Charles’ mom had been living with dementia for a number of years when she passed away last September, she loved the English countryside, so walking in her memory feels like a fitting tribute to her.

In April we spent 8 days walking the 110 mile Cleveland Way, carrying all our kit and spending most nights under canvas. Poppy also has a backpack so she can carry the all important dog treats without having to rely on us remembering them.

So, lovely people, please have a look at our Youtube channel, we’ll be posting more pictures and videos as we up the daily step count in preparation for the walk, Poppy is especially keen to show off her moves so let’s not disappoint her.
