  'Del' (THE PIGGIE) and I have been involved with "Heart 'n' Soul" (in various ways), since the Summer of '2010', THEY ARE NOT LIKE ANY OTHER CHARITY THAT WE HAVE EVER KNOWN! 

  From my very first encounter, at "THE BOC" (when it was held at 'The Albany'), I was terrified (at first) and spent about an hour in the Toilet, but I needn't have worried as they WELCOMED and ACCEPTED ME EXACTLY AS I AM, NO QUESTIONS ASKED! THEY EVEN ACCEPT 'DEL', in fact they are always really OPEN MINDED and have ENCOURAGED the work that we do together! 

  We are no exceptions, "HEART 'n' SOUL" WELCOMES and ACCEPTS EVERYONE, WHOEVER THEY ARE, and they focus on DEVELOPING AN INDIVIDUAL's TRUE POTENTIAL and NEW IDEAS, thus CREATING HIGH QUALITY and INNOVATIVE WORK! "Heart 'n' Soul" offer whatever support is needed in order that someone with a Disability is not disadvantaged, THEY SEE THE WHOLE PERSON! 

  This is what makes them so FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT to anyone else, especially other Charities or Centres set-up specifically to cater for people with Disabilities!

  In CELEBRATION of the THIRTY YEARS since "HEART 'n' SOUL's" CONCEPTION and the DIVERSITY OF THE DISABILITY ARTS CULTURE, this well respected Organisation has been embarking on a PARTICULARLY AMBITIOUS PROJECT~ "THE BIG 30"! Consisting of both PROFESSIONAL PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHS and (mostly Audio) RECORDINGS of OVER FIFTY PEOPLE INVOLVED AT "HEART 'n' SOUL" (anytime from 1986, onwards) SHARING THEIR OWN PERSONAL MEMORIES/LIFE STORIES! 

This can all be viewed currently, taking shape on the INSPIRATIONAL NEW "BIG 30" WEBSITE, here's the Link:~

and will also be Curated into a very IMPRESSIVE INSTALLATION (with LIVE/INTERACTIVE PERFORMANCES & MINI CLUB NIGHTS in ADDITION to which!) appearing at Venues in and around 'DEPTFORD', throughout JULY, including the 'DEPTFORD LOUNGE' and the 'LEWISHAM LIBRARY'!

 All of the RECORDINGS/PHOTOGRAPHS will eventually end up LIVING PERMANENTLY at the 'LONDON METROPOLITAN ARCHIVES', no less!
