Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I think I may have finally cracked up. I am now offically signed up for the biggest challenge I have ever undertaken and am ever likely to take on.

Riding 1000 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats in 12 days.

I am supporting Parkinson's UK. Some of you will be aware that my mum has lived with this illness for several years and as such this is a charity close to my heart.

Whilst Parkinson's UK is the primary benefactor from the challenge  I will also be riding in memory of my dear friend Stuart Hatyter who sadly passed away earlier this year. I will be making a donation to a charity close to Stu's family and will give further details once that is finalised.

The challenge itself is daunting, but the fundraising total is even more daunting.

Any contribution you feel you can make will be gratefully received.

Whilst this seems a long way off, I know from experience that these trips creep up n you very quickly.

I'll post updates along the way.

Training starts today!

Cheers, Tim.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
